Octavia Sellier has been fascinated by drawing and art in general since childhood, fueling her creative and sensitive spirit. It was after studying cinema and interior design that she really began to explore oil painting. At the end of 2020, after a few paintings, it was a revelation for her, a true means of expression. Now based in Indre-et-Loire, Octavia continues to learn and explore through her art.
Octavia Sellier's work is based on her studies in cinema, her inspirations from nature, photography and her various experiences, and is centered on the search for the transmission of emotions, memories and beauty. Indeed, her painting is mainly figurative or realistic, and the search for beauty in joy as well as in sorrow and melancholy is essential to convey her poetry.
