A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Saint-Étienne and enriched by film studies, Isabelle Ferret's work combines the depth of painting, the dynamics of sculpture and the emotion of cinema. Specializing in ceramics since 2001, she infuses her creations, made in her studio in the South of France, with a life imbued with humanity and a dialogue with nature. Sharing her knowledge through workshops since 2005, Isabelle has made a name for herself in the art world through her singularity and commitment.
Isabelle Ferret's sculpture is a quest for the essence of life, exploring the dialogue between human beings and the environment. Working mainly in stoneware, she shapes her pieces by playing with textures, shades and colors, using a variety of techniques. Her admiration for artists such as Henry Moore and Nicolas de Staël, and her inspiration from nature's rounded pebbles, profoundly influence her work, navigating between realism and abstraction, and inviting reflection on our relationship with the world.
