Born into a family of artists, Elika's vocation for art came naturally. She learned the basics of painting from her artist father, Guy Dessapt. For a time, she planned to become a veterinary surgeon, but during an internship the young woman realized that this profession was not for her. So she returned to her first love: art. Passionate about manga since childhood, she also creates, alongside her painting, mini-comics in digital format, which she shares on certain platforms and websites.
