Euger began painting in 1987 at the age of 20. He was soon in demand at galleries, where he held his first solo exhibitions. Since then, painting has been an integral part of his life, and he has never stopped practicing. Philippe Euger has always been attracted by the aesthetics of the graphic arts and the emotions they can arouse, and painting was a natural progression for him. He is entirely self-taught and has created his own style, which is often immediately recognizable.

His colorful, dynamic and eye-catching canvases are created with spray paint and a subtle blend of collage, poster and graffiti... The creation of his works is carefully considered, particularly in terms of subject, overall composition and color. They feature icons from popular music, film, advertising and comic-book culture, combined with elements of urban art such as graffiti and torn posters. For Philippe Euger, art is essential to life.
