Sensitive to Art in its entirety, the young French artist Morgane Clavaud first studied Fashion by following a course in styling and model making. It is later thanks to the first confinement, which gives her the opportunity to concentrate on the expression of her Art, that she decides to experiment painting and its contrasts.
The dynamism of the colors and the spontaneity of the gestures of the brush become then with the wire of the paintings a need, a true passion which does not leave it any more since.
Morgane is inspired by things, objects, that we can find around us. She paints these objects that we don't pay attention to, everyday objects, and transforms our look by bringing them a new light and poetry.
She works on the material, the textures, the reflections, the lights, the colors/contrast through focus on various elements; textiles, glasses, pulp, cars, etc...
Morgane carries out a work of observation by forgetting the element in its totality, by decomposing it, by taking time to analyze it.
Her paintings result from a work with a photographic aspect; in a usual and spontaneous way, Morgane regularly takes photographs, of scenes, objects, focus of details, which challenges her to then study the subject in painting.
