Dandapat Swarup
India

Swarup Dandapat was born in India in 1974. Graduate of the Government University of fine arts and crafts of Calcutta, class of 1999, he defines himself ‘as a professional artist’.
His works were exhibited at the International Festival of Watercolour, which took place in February 2018 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Parallel to this, he pursued a career as a teacher. A visiting professor at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad (NID, State of Gujarat) and a consultant for many design institutes, he runs drawing workshops every year for undergrad and post-graduate students. He has also worked as a graphic designer in major Indian media (APB News and Times of India), multinationals (Capgemini) and international companies like Thomson Reuters.
