Description artwork
Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known by his pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the world of Pop Art and street art in Paris, developing a unique style that fuses geometry and popular iconography. His work is characterized by the reuse of emblematic icons through accumulations of dots, paying homage to art history and popular figures he admires.
His works often have an
first abstract reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which one stands. He likes the idea that not everyone observing his work sees the same thing, but above all he likes to play with the observer's eye.
By hijacking certain masterpieces, he aims to make the general public rediscover them.
public, inviting them to explore art history in a playful, modern and democratic way.
