Philippe Auriol is a realist painter whose sharp eye captures the beauty of everyday objects. Working on Plexiglas with acrylic and Posca, he plays with light and transparency to reveal luminous, lively compositions. Philippe Auriol draws his inspiration from everyday life, finding beauty and poetry in the simple objects that surround us. Influenced by Matisse, Hockney and William Morris, he creates still lifes on Plexiglas, where the vividness of the colors and the transparency of the support give a new dimension to his works.
