A child of the South of France, Sophie is a talented and independent contemporary artist. She has always been drawn to manual and creative activities, but it took her some time to find her calling. As a child, she attended the Beaux-Arts, then entered a school of architecture, before training in drawing and graphic design. She pursued her career, first in an agency and then on her own, but it was when she moved to the seaside that she became emancipated and finally found her inspiration. Sophie sold her first canvases during the confinements and now hopes to share and make a living from her art.

With sensitivity, carried away by the waves of her brush, Sophie depicts in her works all the essence and beauty of the maritime landscapes that are dear to her. A great lover and virtuoso of color, she reinvents and fantasizes these settings, their shapes and their light. In a pared-down, almost graphic style, the artist works in acrylics, which she applies in flat tints, playing with hues, superimpositions and perspectives. Curious, she draws her inspiration from painting, architecture and textile art. Her influences include painters such as Hooper, Matisse and Bansky, designers like Patricia Urquiola and great architects like Le Corbusier. Having long felt "out of place", Sophie now reflects in her canvases the atmosphere and emotion of these magnificent panoramas that soothe us and invite us to travel.
