Du Mingxuan | Contemporary Artist: Artworks & Biography

Mingxuan DU has created his own signature style using traditional Chinese techniques and tools. He works with an ink brush and inkstick to bring his pieces to life on rice paper with key features of traditional Chinese painting.

He illustrates and exaggerates the features of his subjects with lines and simple forms. 

Chinese culture is very close to Mingxuan's heart and he's inspired by landscapes, plants and animals and what they symbolise.

He uses art as a universal language to share his feelings and world view with the audience.
