Description artwork

An unlikely romance, a bittersweet comedy between two lonely souls perched on their respective balconies. The woman in the flamboyant yellow hat is my Juliette - theatrical, passionate, always a little on show. She leans outwards, as if in search of something (or someone) beyond her daily routine.
And downstairs, a few floors away, sits Romeo. A black cat. Majestic. Serene. Distant. He too is on his balcony, but much more down-to-earth, or rather... balcony-to-earth. She dreams, he contemplates. She hopes, he observes. He's her mystery, her muse, or maybe just an indifferent neighbor. Who knows? That's the ambiguity. The surrounding city, with its exaggeratedly elegant architecture and almost theatrical perspectives, becomes the stage for this romantic-feline theater.
