This is the quiet origin of the whole series – my working table, my morning light. The knife wasn’t meant to look dramatic, but it always does when fruit is involved. There’s something honest about a setup that becomes its own story.

Atypical and prolific German creator, Julia Ulrich wishes above all to depict her imaginary world with sylvan tints and folkloric influences. Naturally, she first merges her passions by turning to a Bachelor of Arts degree and then to a Master of Fine Arts degree. In 2019, she held her first exhibition in Wertheim. Since then, projects follow one another like a group art exhibition in Berlin and her participation in several art fairs. Artist, teacher, housewife, Julia also loves sports and video games, and always dreams her life.
