Description artwork

This unique and original contemporary artwork "Stuart Highway #8" was created by contemporary artist Castillon Camille. It is a series of paintings depicting the changing colors of the earth along the Stuart Highway, which cuts Australia in two, from Darwin (north) to Adelaide (south), where the artist's family lives.

The influence of Aboriginal art on the artist's technical work is evident here.

French-made canvas, UV protective varnish.
